How to Make a Chakra Bracelet (DIY Guide)

Chakra bracelets aren’t just beautiful pieces of jewelry, they can also be useful chakra healing tools. Read on to learn how you can create your own chakra bracelet at home.

What is a Chakra Healing Bracelet?

Chakras are vital energy centers within your body, and each one is aligned with particular crystals and precious stones.

A chakra healing bracelet is a unique piece of jewelry made up of healing crystals that you can wear on your wrist to help balance your chakras. Chakra healing bracelets come in various styles and designs – some bracelets contain healing crystals for each of the 7 major chakras, while other chakra bracelets simply focus on one particular chakra.

When you wear a chakra bracelet, you’ll have the power of these gemstones close to you throughout your day, helping to align and balance your energy centers.

Let’s look at how you can make your own chakra healing bracelet.

What Chakra Beads Are Needed for a Chakra Bracelet?

In order to get healing benefits from your chakra bracelet, you need to choose the appropriate beads for the chakras you want to balance. Look for the following beads for each of the chakras:

For the Root Chakra, or Muladhara, choose a stone such as red jasper, hematite, black tourmaline, or garnet. These Root Chakra stones are typically red, brown, or black, and they are known to ground you and promote stability.

The Sacral Chakra, also known as Svadhisthana, is associated with orange stones such as carnelian, sunstone, or orange calcite. These stones can help to balance your emotions and enhance creativity.

For your Solar Plexus Chakra, or Manipura, you can incorporate yellow stones such as citrine, tiger’s eye, or pyrite. These stones are believed to boost confidence and personal power.

The Heart Chakra, or Anahata, involves the use of green and pink stones such as rose quartz, jade, emerald, or green aventurine. These stones symbolize love, compassion, and healing.

The Throat Chakra, or Vishuddha is associated with blue stones like lapis lazuli, sodalite, blue lace agate, or turquoise. These stones are believed to promote communication and self-expression.

The Third Eye Chakra, or Ajna, calls for purple stones like amethyst or indigo-colored stones such as fluorite or black onyx. These stones are associated with intuition and spiritual development.

The Crown Chakra, or Sahasrara, is healed by clear or light purple stones like clear quartz, selenite, or ametrine. These stones symbolize spiritual connection and enlightenment.

Choose stones that resonate with you and your needs to create a personalized and meaningful piece of jewelry.

How Do I Assemble the Chakra Bracelet?

These are the instructions for creating a 7 chakra stone bracelet but feel free to adapt it depending on your needs. For example if you want to make a Root Chakra bracelet, you might want to create a chakra bracelet solely out of red and black crystals.

  1. Start by measuring your wrist to determine the length of the bracelet.
  2. Cut a piece of stretchy cord slightly longer than your wrist measurement.
  3. Thread the beads onto the cord in the order of the chakras, starting with the Root Chakra at the base (usually a red or black stone) and ending with the Crown Chakra at the top (a purple or white stone).
  4. You can also add spacer beads between each chakra bead for a more balanced look.
  5. Once all beads are in place, securely tie the cord with a knot and trim any excess.
  6. Don’t forget to add a dab of glue or clear nail polish on the knot for extra security!

The Benefits of a Chakra Healing Bracelet

Specific crystals have different properties which align with the vibrational frequency of the chakras to stimulate or cleanse these energy centers. Some crystals have calming and grounding properties while some precious stones are known for their ability to energize and recharge certain chakras, helping to remove energy blockages.

Chakra bracelets are a great way to carry the healing benefits of crystals around with you all day. Wearing chakra jewelry can also help to bring awareness to your energy flow and promote overall well-being.
