  1. Sit comfortably with your back straight in a chair or cross-legged on the floor. Relax your shoulders down. Close your eyes if you’re easily distracted. 
  2. Rest both hands in your lap or on your knees with palms facing up. Take a few deep breaths to center yourself.
  3. Bring the tips of your left thumb, ring finger, and pinky finger together so they touch lightly. Avoid squeezing them tightly together.
  4. Straighten and extend your index and middle fingers fully. Do not bend them. Feel them broadening outwards.
  5. Focus on the gentle, steady pressure created by the three connected fingers. Soften the rest of your hand.
  6. Hold this mudra position for as long as comfortable. 
  7. Release the hand position and shake out your hands. Take a few mindful breaths.
  8. Practice daily with both hands for maximum benefits. Aim for 15-20 minutes per hand if possible.

Make sure your shoulders, arms, and hands stay relaxed as you hold prana mudra. Come out of the position if you feel any tension building up. With regular practice, you’ll be able to hold it for  longer without any discomfort.
